Toolbox talk

A toolbox talk is a short, focused safety briefing given to workers on site, usually before a task or at the start of a shift. It covers a single topic, such as working at height, manual handling or a hazard specific to the day, and is meant to be practical and quick rather than a formal training session.

Regular toolbox talks are one of the simplest ways to keep safety front of mind and to reinforce the controls set out in your risk assessments and method statements.
